Don't judge what you don't understand

Don't judge.
It is very easy to start pointing fingers and observing other people's flaws but this is certainly not the way to change the world. We do not have the right to judge the lives or actions of other people no matter how absurd they seem to us.

We are all different and that is great. Imagine a world of clones with the same mind and same feelings or no feelings. That is not the dream of an idealist, it is the dream of someone who wants to rule the world and make people be ignorant sheep, easy to manipulate.

I understand the fact that we can't like everyone. Some people are just not on the same frequency as we are but that isn't a good reason for us to judge them! We are all on different paths of our evolution, different levels of maturity and self-awareness.

Think about one thing, and be honest with yourself...are you judging in others the things you don't like about yourself? Most of the time that is the case. So stop doing that and focus on yourself. Life is not about pointing out the mistakes of other people so you can feel better about yourself. That is just stupid and doesn't lead to anything good. Life is about minding your own business, improving yourself and accepting the fact that we are all different.

Maybe we cannot change people, maybe some people have no desire to change. We cannot let that affect us in any way. If we can help someone, great. I believe in the fact that by personal example you can inspire people to make a change in their own lifes. So again it's the idea that you cannot give advice that you don't follow yourself. Everyone can be a critic but it takes effort to be a role model.

The conclusion is simple: less talking and more action, less judging of other and more of improving oneself.

If I am not making any sense and you feel like you can relate more to something in song I leave you with the inspiration for this post, a great song by a great band. Enjoy!

  1. Just wanted to add, we can't stop judging others, a study find out that we judge things before we can actually become aware of them, which is fascinating. It shows how deep this behavior is, so unless you are pushing toward re-programing your subconscious, a more positively judgments can't be achieved.

  2. Yes, I am aware of that. I know it has become an instinct to judge everything but as you said...re-programming sounds like a great idea to me. It is a hard thing to do, indeed but it is absolutely worth it. The main idea is that we should focus on self-development rather than being critics to others. :D
