Make every day a great day
If you ever think that you are not good enough or that you never won anything in your life or you've never been number one in anything just remember that you were the sperm cell that made it :)); That is a good start and a confidence boost. (And yes, I really wanted to insert that joke here, I have been thinking about it all day)
You were the one that made it and is here now to experience life in all of its splendor.
And before you jump in and say that life is not wonderful just take a moment and think of all the things you have to be grateful for. You are here to experience so many wonderful feelings. Even if sometimes you experience negative feelings those are good too because you cannot know the light without knowing the darkness.
If you ever heard of the term "the dark night of the soul" that is a time of great pain in your life when you feel so down that it seems you will never get back up again. But no worry. Once you get up on your own and fight your fights and you keep on keeping on there is no stopping you. Be happy when you feel pain because if you don't feel any spiritual pain it means you are probably dead inside. How can you become a strong and wise person if you don't experience hard times? The way to Heaven is through Hell. It always was and always will be. Just think about all the epic characters in movies and anime. They all have some sort of dark side to them and eventually they use that dark side in their advantage. You cannot let your dark side control you, you need to be the one to control it and everything will work out great in the end. It's all about balance. We all have the divine spark within us, we just need to wake up and find it, we need to see the light in the darkness.
So how do you make every day a great day? You just try to be the best version of yourself in every situation, be true to yourself and your feelings and don't try to copy anyone else. Do what makes you happy, what you are passionate about. There is no need to be afraid and to follow the rules of society. You have all the answers within yourself. Just make your own choices. Good or bad, it doesn't matter. Every experience helps you grow. Just keep in mind that every moment is precious and in every moment you can learn something new about yourself and the world around you. We need to evolve mentally, spiritually, physically...in every way possible. We need to keep ourselves busy with our own path, to let go of all negative emotions towards ourselves and others. Yes, it's much easier to spread hate and negativity but in the long run that doesn't do anybody any good so we have to try to be good persons and spread unconditional love, good vibes, to be there for people in need with a shoulder to cry on, a good advice.
In the end all that matters is to really live, not just to exist. And you really live if you are free. Free to be yourself, free of all negative emotions. No fear, no hate, none of the seven deadly sins that poison the soul. Balance, people. Balance. No one is telling you to be saints but just try not to go too far with negative things. And just be nice to yourself and to others. It's not that hard to do. Practice makes perfect. Begin easy by smiling. That is a small gesture that can do wonders. If someone sees you smile they can't help it but to smile back. Imagine a world full of smiles. So cute.
Well, I can see this is a long post and I don't want to bore anyone with things that have been said before because yes, these things have been said before by so many people. And I admire the people that think like that and really practice what they preach. So...be good, be true, be original, be strong and be free. And smile...and every day will be great even if it seems it's not. You will see later that everything happens for a reason...
Your blog posts are always inspiring ^.^
ReplyDeleteWay to go!
Right back at you. I love your work too. Thank you for your support and also thank you for your wonderful posts. Have a fabulous day!
ReplyDeleteHi, you wanted comments so here goes:-) I've read some of your posts and they sound as if they were made of quotes that are put together. You seem to take the ideas of others without actually developing on your personal experience or everyday life, hence the Oscar Wilde quote: "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist". you say: "The way to Heaven is through Hell. It always was and always will be." Why? If we were to believe that, Heaven should be a very empty place.
ReplyDelete"We need to keep ourselves busy with our own path"...what does that even mean?
Why is it easier to spread negativity and hate? You don't back up your ideas at all, you don't develop.
If you are the positive person you led us to believe you were, you will take this as plain and simple feedback as I'd love to read your thoughts on this.

Hello, and thank you for your feedback. I will be happy to respond to you. I can understand your opinion because indeed my posts might sound a little bit cliche. You know why that is? Because these universal truths apply every time. Some things just are. I am not reinventing the wheel here...as in the words of a very wise man "Everything has been said before, there's nothing left to say anymore".
ReplyDeleteI use a lot of metaphors, maybe that is why you have some issues with my writing and think that it is silly. The thing about the way to heaven refers to the fact that you cannot evolve if you do not encounter some struggles along the way, people tend to change after they go through rough situations. The ones that just have it all and don't really have to work for anything might become stuck.
Busy with our own path means that we should mind our own business and try to fix our own imperfections before judging others.
And thank you for saying that I am a positive person. I am, indeed. But it took me a long time to realize that :D I went through my share of "hell".
If you have any more questions I am happy to respond. Have a great day,Lexy!
