Songs, singers, bands.
I want to know you guys. I consider that we can be friends. If you are actually reading my blog because you chose to do so it already means that we have some things in common. And even if we don't have so many things in common we are all connected. The world should be one big happy family. I know, I know. I am talking about utopia, heaven on earth. But I do believe it is possible. Someday the world will be a better place because the change starts from within us.
I want to talk to you about my favorite songs, bands and singers. I do believe that the music you listen to is a big part of who you are. Even if some people may disagree I still believe this to be true.
When I was a kid I would listen to lots and lots of R&B, dance, reggae, you name it. I want to share with you some of the songs that made me jump out of my bed and dance like crazy in front of the mirror. ( because yep, I did that and it was fun).
- Usher -Yeah
- Will Smith-Switch
- Outkast-Hey Ya!
- The Black Eyed Peas-Don't Phunk with my heart
- Bomfunk MC's- Freestyler
- Christina Aguilera-Genie in a bottle
- Ciara-Goodies
- Sean Paul- Get busy
- Blue-Bubblin
- Pachanga-Loco
- Destiny's child-Say my name
- Shakira-Whenever, Wherever
Just listening to these songs brings back such good memories of a time with no cares, no drama, no bad things. And I am not saying that life isn't wonderful now too, but when you are a kid you have a more opened heart and you can easily find enthusiasm in everything. I don't ever want to lose that. I am a young spirit and I want to stay that way because it's fun.
In high school I started to get into the more rock side of the music. The dark side, the rock side. I just love that. To be totally honest with you my type of personality fits the goth type. But I don't dress like it and I don't really listen to the music. It's just the attitude. It just is. But, I wasn't talking about that. I will share with you guys a list of music videos of the bands I listened to in my high school years. I still listen to them. But I am not the type of person to be obsessed with one genre of music. I don't label myself as a rocker and start to hate anything else. If it sounds good and I like it, I listen to it. I don't give a rat's ass if some people think it's crap. So without further introductions here are some songs. I hope you will enjoy them because the next list in this post is about the bands and songs I love in the present. Stay tuned.

Lastly, some of the songs and artists I listen to in the present moment, or whatever...the last two years up until now. I still listen to all the others too. As I said, I like the music I like and I'm not afraid to say it. It's who I am.
