10 things to do when you're bored

I don't say that these things apply to everyone. These are just things that I do. I sometimes like to think of myself as a normal person but then I remember that I find being referred to as "normal" is offensive for me.
Why? Because I look around and I see what today's "normal" means. Being a brainwashed idiot with no ideals, no motivation, no hope, no life, no nothing. Waking up in the morning and feeling sad about it. Another day at a job that you hate, meeting people you don't like, wasting your time and your life, feeling empty and posting on Faceebok how happy you are, how many places you visited and how people like you.
Really? Is that all there is? If that's all there is I prefer being called crazy because I do not care to follow these rules and I stopped giving a shit about what others think about me. People always judge you and have an idea about how you should live your life.
They think that if they were you, they would do a heck of a good job living your life. But that is bullshit. They should focus on their own lives. Work with what you've got or as Gambit says "Always play the hand your dealt." If not, go kill yourself and become food for worms. But no, don't do that. Just wake up and do what you feel, be who you are ( of course if you are a psychopath, serial killer, pedophile or any other fucked up human that would hurt another human being or an animal then you should not be yourself, follow the rules of society and be decent or do the right thing and have yourself locked up).
So, before this turns into another long post...let me give you the list of 10 things to do when you are bored.
1. Start thinking about things. Ask yourself questions. Don't just believe everything you see or hear.
2. Read a book. Chances are it will bore you even more if it's a bad book and it will take you to the next step.
3. Take a nap. It helps the brain to recover from over-thinking or from not thinking at all.
4. Watch a good movie.
5. Play a game. I would recommend one of Jigsaw's games for most people...
6. Work out. You should never get bored if you start working out. Move around, Play a sport. Dance. Do yoga. Lift weights or I don't know what.
7. Find a hobby. How do you do that? By trying new things and not sitting around getting bored in the first place. Maybe you can play an instrument, maybe you can write, make youtube videos, draw, sing, dance, train your dog, cat, hamster, fish, make-up, hair-styling, and so on.
8. Look at old pictures of yourself, friends or family
9. Go for a walk outside. You need sunlight. Or moonlight. That works too.
10. Meet up with friends or people or call someone, text someone, stop living like a lonely creep and interact with people.

Yes, exactly. That is why I don't want to fit in because it means not to think for yourself but just to follow the majority. But what if the majority is wrong? I don't need that :))

ReplyDeleteYou can, like, read a book, think about what you read there then fall asleep while doing that and end with a nap. :D
